The shot list is the day's plan and its log. The board is what the camera sees — slate a take and the list keeps the take, the timecode and the note.
Turn off True Tone, Night Shift / Night Light, auto-brightness and any adaptive contrast, then set a fixed brightness. Shoot the screen square on — every panel shifts colour off axis. A screen emits; it cannot stand in for a reflective grey card lit by your actual lights.
Hold a bank card (or any ID card — they are all ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1, 85.60 × 53.98 mm) flat against the screen and size the box until the two match exactly. A ruler works too: the box is 85.6 mm wide.
